A cry for salvation

As dawn brings a new day to a restless heart,
A glow that dispels the dark of night.
A glorious moment that only GOD can provide,
Lighting and brightens to remove the sadness of my empty soul.
Awake constantly every night in a strange and far away land.
Thoughts of failure, self-worth, past mistakes
Can I rectify what is damaged?
Do I even know what is damaged?
Is this my destiny to walk this path as HE decrees.
Is this a test of my faith in HIM.
As each night comes, so does a restless soul to walk..
A darkness walk of confusion and emptiness that keeps me captive..
There is no light to lift this heavy heart of mine..
No salvation for my soul that only HE can provide...
Leaving my troubles and pains in HIS hands as
A glorious brightness shines as I walk to meet HIM forever...
